Scolpita in marmo bianco latte, Matrice si innalza per 115 cm come uno schizzo di materia che emerge dalla terra, sospeso tra gesto, energia e origine. La forma ricorda una fiamma, ma anche un getto vitale: un movimento ascensionale che trasforma la durezza della pietra in un'apparizione leggera e fluida.
Al centro, un foro passante richiama naturalmente la morfologia del corpo femminile, evocando la matrice come luogo primordiale della nascita e della trasformazione. La sinuosità di uno dei profili suggerisce il ventre di una donna in gravidanza, rendendo la scultura un omaggio alla forza generatrice della vita.
Matrice non rappresenta soltanto la maternità, ma il principio stesso da cui ogni esistenza prende forma. La fiamma diventa così simbolo dell'origine, dell'energia creatrice e del continuo rinnovarsi della materia, unendo in un'unica immagine il fuoco, il corpo e la nascita.
Carved from milky white marble, Matrix rises 115 cm from the ground like a splash of matter caught in the act of becoming, suspended between gesture, energy, and origin. Its form evokes a flame, yet also a vital surge—an upward movement that transforms the solidity of stone into something fluid and weightless.
At its center, a through-opening naturally recalls the morphology of the female body, evoking the womb as the primordial place of birth and transformation. The gentle curvature of one side suggests the belly of a pregnant woman, making the sculpture a tribute to the generative power of life.
Matrix does not merely represent motherhood; it embodies the very principle from which all existence emerges. The flame thus becomes a symbol of origin, creative energy, and the perpetual renewal of matter, bringing together fire, the body, and birth in a single sculptural form.
