La maternità non è descritta, ma costruita.
Due forme autonome si attraversano senza fondersi: una accoglie, l'altra cresce al suo interno. Il vuoto diventa il luogo in cui avviene la relazione, suggerendo che la vita nasce prima come spazio possibile e solo dopo come presenza.
L'opera non rappresenta una madre e un figlio, ma il principio universale della generazione: ogni origine è il dialogo tra un contenitore e ciò che viene custodito.
Le superfici continue eliminano ogni gerarchia tra interno ed esterno, trasformando la pietra in un unico flusso. La materia non domina il vuoto: è il vuoto a completare la forma.
Sintassi: Generare significa creare lo spazio perché un'altra forma possa esistere.
Motherhood is not depicted; it is constructed.
Two autonomous forms intersect without merging: one embraces, while the other grows within it. The void becomes the place where the relationship unfolds, suggesting that life first exists as a possibility of space and only later as a physical presence.
The sculpture does not represent a mother and a child, but the universal principle of generation: every beginning is a dialogue between what contains and what is contained.
Its continuous surfaces dissolve any hierarchy between interior and exterior, transforming the stone into a single flowing form. Matter does not dominate the void; rather, the void completes the form.

Sei lingotti di marmo si dispongono in una forma piramidale, richiamando uno dei simboli più antichi della stabilità, del potere e dell'accumulazione. La materia, sottratta alla sua funzione scultorea, assume quella di una ricchezza ideale, trasformando il marmo in una riserva di valore.
Al centro della base, un lingotto è collocato in posizione capovolta. Un'apparente anomalia che incrina la perfezione geometrica dell'insieme e suggerisce come ogni sistema, anche il più solido, possa poggiare su un equilibrio inatteso.
Due reggette in plastica da imballaggio comprimono l'intera struttura. Un materiale fragile, economico e destinato a essere rimosso diventa ciò che trattiene una massa pensata per attraversare i secoli. In questo contrasto si manifesta la tensione tra permanenza e provvisorietà, tra valore reale e valore attribuito.
R.E.S.E.R.V.E. riflette sul significato della ricchezza nel mondo contemporaneo: ciò che viene custodito non è soltanto materia, ma fiducia, convenzione e memoria. La piramide diventa così un monumento al desiderio umano di preservare il valore nel tempo, pur affidandolo a legami che potrebbero spezzarsi in qualsiasi momento.

Six marble ingots are arranged in a pyramidal structure, evoking one of humanity's oldest symbols of stability, power, and accumulated wealth. Removed from its traditional sculptural function, marble takes on the appearance of stored capital, transforming the material into a metaphor for enduring value.
At the center of the base, one ingot is deliberately placed upside down. This subtle disruption breaks the apparent perfection of the composition, suggesting that even the most solid systems may ultimately rest upon an unexpected balance.
Two industrial plastic straps bind the entire structure together. A fragile, inexpensive material, intended only for transport, becomes the element that holds together a mass conceived to endure for centuries. This contrast between the permanence of marble and the temporary nature of plastic reflects the paradox of contemporary value: what appears eternal is often sustained by fragile conventions.
R.E.S.E.R.V.E. reflects on the meaning of wealth in the contemporary world. What is truly preserved is not only material itself, but also trust, shared belief, and collective memory. The pyramid thus becomes a monument to humanity's enduring desire to preserve value through time, even when the bonds that sustain it remain inherently fragile.
