La maternità non è descritta, ma costruita.
Due forme autonome si attraversano senza fondersi: una accoglie, l'altra cresce al suo interno. Il vuoto diventa il luogo in cui avviene la relazione, suggerendo che la vita nasce prima come spazio possibile e solo dopo come presenza.
L'opera non rappresenta una madre e un figlio, ma il principio universale della generazione: ogni origine è il dialogo tra un contenitore e ciò che viene custodito.
Le superfici continue eliminano ogni gerarchia tra interno ed esterno, trasformando la pietra in un unico flusso. La materia non domina il vuoto: è il vuoto a completare la forma.
Sintassi: Generare significa creare lo spazio perché un'altra forma possa esistere.
Motherhood is not depicted; it is constructed.
Two autonomous forms intersect without merging: one embraces, while the other grows within it. The void becomes the place where the relationship unfolds, suggesting that life first exists as a possibility of space and only later as a physical presence.
The sculpture does not represent a mother and a child, but the universal principle of generation: every beginning is a dialogue between what contains and what is contained.
Its continuous surfaces dissolve any hierarchy between interior and exterior, transforming the stone into a single flowing form. Matter does not dominate the void; rather, the void completes the form.

Un frammento di terra che tenta di ricordare il legame con il cielo.
Zolle sovrapposte come memorie geologiche si innalzano fino a trasformarsi in un totem, una linea simbolica che unisce ciò che è radicato a ciò che è infinito.
L'opera riflette sul desiderio umano di elevarsi senza recidere il legame con la propria origine terrena. La materia conserva il peso della gravità, ma la forma aspira alla leggerezza, suggerendo che ogni crescita nasce dall'equilibrio e dalla trasformazione tra ciò che ci trattiene e ciò che ci chiama verso l'alto.
Il totem diventa così un punto di incontro tra terra e cosmo, tra il tempo profondo delle rocce e quello silenzioso delle stelle. Si fa tramite e spunto per riconoscere che anche la parte più umile della materia custodisce un'intima nostalgia dell'infinito da cui tutto proviene.

Layers of soil, stacked like geological memories, rise until they become a totem, a symbolic axis that unites what is rooted with what is infinite.
The sculpture reflects on the human desire to ascend without severing the connection to its earthly origins. The material retains the weight of gravity, yet its form reaches toward lightness, suggesting that every act of growth emerges from the balance and transformation between what holds us to the ground and what calls us upward.
The totem thus becomes a meeting point between earth and cosmos, between the deep time of stone and the silent time of the stars. It stands as a conduit and an invitation to recognize that even the humblest matter carries within it an intimate longing for the infinity from which all things arise.
